These Terms govern your use of the FilmBack mobile app. By using FilmBack, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Who can use FilmBack

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use FilmBack on devices you own. The app is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights we don't expressly grant you here.

3. Your content

You own the photos and prompts you submit to FilmBack. By using AI features, you give us permission to process your content with our AI providers solely to return the result to you. We don't use your content to train AI models.

You're responsible for what you submit. Don't use FilmBack to process:

• sexual content involving minors or any other illegal content;
• non-consensual sexual or harassing content involving real people;
• identity documents, currency, or official records you intend to alter or forge;
• anything that violates someone else's rights or applicable law.

We may refuse to process or remove content that violates these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and AI credits

• Premium subscriptions (weekly or yearly) are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation stops the next renewal but doesn't refund the current period.
• Free trials, when offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before they end.
• AI credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
• Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If an AI operation fails for technical reasons, we'll attempt to refund the credit automatically.

5. Referrals

Referrals are for genuine person-to-person sharing. We may void codes or revoke credits if we detect abuse.

6. Acceptable use

Don't:

• reverse-engineer or modify the app;
• circumvent purchase, subscription, or credit limits;
• use automated tools to access the app or our backend;
• interfere with the app or our servers.

7. AI outputs

AI outputs are generated by machine learning models and may contain errors, artifacts, or unexpected changes. Review them before saving or sharing. Don't rely on AI outputs for evidentiary or historical purposes — keep your original negatives.

8. Third-party services

FilmBack uses Apple's App Store, Firebase, RevenueCat, Wiro AI, and fal. Your use of those services through FilmBack is also subject to their own terms.

9. Updates

We may update the app at any time. Some updates may be required to continue using the app.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT. KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL NEGATIVES — WE'RE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF PHYSICAL MEDIA.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $20, whichever is greater. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Termination

You can stop using FilmBack at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

13. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

15. Changes

If we change these Terms, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
